Account Manager 
 
Account Manager Job Details:
We are seeking a top-performing Account Manager who has strong relationships within Division I football programs and can continue to develop relationships with coaches and recruiting personnel staff members. This role will be assigned within a College/University network territory to simultaneously nurture and renew our current clients. 
 
This role will be assigned to work with existing accounts while also prospecting and closing prospective clients. Customer relationships are developed by phone contact, personal visits, onsite discovery, software demonstrations, oral presentations, and through attending events. 
 
Responsibilities 
  • Become a subject matter expert on the Zcruit product offerings for college football teams
  • Develop and execute sales plans to deliver on revenue goals, and provide accurate forecasting
  • Manage a strategic sales cycle: prospecting, qualifying, managing, and closing sales opportunities within a defined territory
  • Create and deliver sales forecasts, updates and share best practices with our Account Management team
  • Achieve sales results by understanding key business drivers, potential customer challenges, and relevant industry knowledge and trends
  • Maintain account information in CRM (Pipedrive, Hubspot) 
  • Respond to incoming leads, assigned leads, and customer inquiries
  • Represent Zcruit in a positive and professional manner
  • Work with all personnel and outside contacts to ensure client satisfaction and achieve customer success goals
  • Identify areas of improvement in the company and assist in creating and implementing solutions
  • Manage new account training and customer onboarding for accounts
  • Provide consistent, prompt support to accounts as assigned to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Maintain relationships with existing customers in a designated territory – including conducting phone and email customer support, regular check ins via email, phone and webinars as required
  • Conduct regular “health scoring” of accounts to identify high risk clientele, and create action plans to mitigate risk 
  • Recommend product improvements to the product team as needed
  • Ensure all quarterly customer retention targets are met 
  • Conduct CRM updates regularly, including maintaining active client roster
  • Contribute to the greater team’s success through taking on additional tasks and responsibilities when needed, including supporting the sales and customer success efforts of teammates. 
 
Requirements 
  • 4+ Years of experience in sales and account management for SaaS products OR College Athletics at the NCAA level either as a coach or staff member with additional experience using a recruiting, compliance, or team management CRM system 
  • The ability to perform a high-level product demonstrations
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Detail-oriented and high organizational skills with ability to manage many different responsibilities 
  • Experience with Pipedrive, Hubspot or similar CRM preferred 
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • A proven track record of success
