Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Revenue Generating Activities
  • Collaborate with the CEO/General Manager to develop, manage and implement revenue producing opportunities and processes for RBOC, which includes both the Rose Bowl Stadium and Brookside Golf Course
  • Responsible for directly generating incremental revenue via traditional and/or non-traditional revenue sources
  • Oversee, collaborate and/or manage facility revenue producing contractors/organizations that focus on premium seating, sponsorships, food & beverage and fundraising
  • Work with RBOC staff to maximize revenue on day-to-day basis, including ancillary revenue related to events
  • Provide leadership in collaboration with the CEO/General Manager to ensure an aligned organization, communicating and executing a well-defined revenue generating strategy
  • Maximize ancillary revenue opportunities
Marketing Strategy Activities
  • Develops and implements strategic marketing plans and sales plans and forecasts to achieve objectives for organization
  • Develop and manage sales/marketing operating budgets.
  • Direct sales forecasting activities and sets performance goals accordingly
  • Meet with key clients assisting RBOC personnel and/or revenue producing contractors/organizations with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals
  • Analyze and control expenditures of division to conform to budgetary requirements
  • Prepare and present periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion
  • Develop and implement good marketing strategies for RBOC, including related to fundraising and technology
Manage Internal/External Relationships
  • Establish and maintain relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners
  • Foster good communication and teamwork among various staff and sub- contractors to ensure cohesive shared best practices among the revenue stream managers
  • Promote an organizational culture that promotes job responsibility, high expectations, quality, good values and pride within the organization
  • Direct staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and control sales and marketing programs

Education and/or Experience:

  • Sales/Marketing or Business preferred with a minimum of five years related experience with progressive managerial responsibilities
  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
