What you will do:

Work with Modalities: Ultrasound, E-Stim, Hydrotherapy
Work with athletes doing stretching
Provide general assistance to Head Athletic Trainer
Provide training room setup and cleanup
Be liaison between visiting AT and home team medical staff during games
Assist the visiting AT in pre-game setup and general game assistance

What you will learn:

How to work with and interact with high level of athletes
Different kinds of Manual Therapy Techniques
Graston Therapy
Strain Counter Strain
Evaluation of different kind of athletic injuries
How to work with in a medical team
Dealing with different kinds of medical insurances

What we ask of you:

Students majoring in Athletic Training or Physical Therapy
Must be at least in your sophomore summer of college
Available from May through September/early October
Available for the following daily schedule: typically 9am-3pm on home practice days, and 9am-11am and 5pm-9:30pm on home game days.
Must be able to multitask, handle stressful situations.
Be professional around athletes, staff and management.
Be on-time and have reliable transportation.
