About the Position

We are seeking a self-starter with incredible attention to detail, financial acumen, aptitude for technology, and a desire to work within a dynamic environment as our Financial Analyst, Real Estate for the Chase Center Retail District.

Our new retail district encompasses approximately 100,000 square feet with 25+ tenants. You will lead retail financial operations, handle the allocation of operating expenses, and assist with reporting and partner communication, while maintaining excellent relations with tenants. Your impact in this position will play a significant role in the success of Chase Center.

This is a full-time position based in San Francisco reporting to our Director, Retail Property Operations and with dotted-line reporting to the Finance team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead initial configuration of property management software (MRI)
  • Maintain structure and inputs for ongoing operations in property management software
  • Accomplishes financial objectives by monthly invoicing to tenants, collecting rent, initiating corrective action
  • Partner with finance to ensure proper integration between the property management software and accounting system
  • Assist finance team with monthly closing procedures
  • Ensure thorough review and proper allocation of district’s operating expenses
  • Prepare budget summaries and reporting for district’s Master Association
  • Compile regular communication, including financial reporting, for each of the 25+ tenants

Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 5+ years of experience in property management finance
  • Experience using a property management software (knowledge of MRI system preferred)
  • You will be a highly motivated, self-starter with strong organizational and communication skills
