An Account Executive in the Arena Sports Group is responsible for ticket sales revenue for the Phoenix Mercury and Arizona Rattlers through group sales, new full season sales, partial plans, and renewals.  Account Executives will also have a hand in the strategic planning of member events as well as member communication and new business strategy revolving around the Phoenix Mercury and Arizona Rattlers relocation projects to our newly renovated arena.  In addition to their larger role with the Mercury and Rattlers, Account Executives, will also be responsible for driving Phoenix Suns new season, partial, and group revenue.

What You Will Do:

  • Meet or exceed daily/weekly hustle metrics
  • Meet or exceed monthly/annual sales and renewal goals
  • Prospect and qualify all potential sales opportunities
  • Effectively execute sales campaigns and trainings set forth
  • Efficiently manage workday as determined by management
  • Maintain records of all clients and prospects through effective CRM use
  • Assist customer service efforts during renewal campaigns
  • Maintain regular and reliable attendance

 What We Need From Our Account Executive:

  • Assist in the creation of sales and renewal events for ASG properties
  • Attend strategic planning meetings to create campaigns for ASG property initiatives
  • Strong desire to grow a career in the revenue generating side of the sports industry
  • Ability to nurture and grow your sales pipeline to develop a strategy for long-term sustained success
  • Understanding of how to solve business goals and objectives and maintain a solution-based approach when consulting with a business or consumer
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and competitive environment
  • Time management skills that help you sell full menu for the Suns, Mercury, Rattlers, and Footprint Center concerts and events
  • Ability to confidently present in meetings to groups of 10 or more people
  • Competent in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
 Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s Degree required from an accredited college or university in Business, Sports Management, Marketing, Communications, or related field or equivalent experience
  • At least one year of ticket sales experience for a professional sports team
