Administration/General Management: Administrative/Executive Assistant
As the Executive Assistant, you will support Senior-Level Executives and provide time-sensitive administrative support.
  • Organize meetings for senior-level executives
  • Schedule appointments and make travel arrangements
  • Provide logistical support for meetings, conferences, media and special events, etc.
  • Prepare and proofread documents and presentations
  • Complete expense reports
  • Support Operations Committee reporting activities, including conference calls, meetings and presentations
  • Conduct research and track data
  • Provide document management support for all Administrative departments
  • Process and route incoming mail
  • Process purchase requisitions
  • Complete purchase orders subject to approval guidelines
  • Provide professional and courteous correspondence to internal and external contacts
  • Assist with the strategy, development and implementation of ticket pricing
  • Attend meetings, take notes and transcribe data into presentations
  • Provide administration support to other members of the executive staff
  • Organize and manage the Executive Suite for all Pistons game
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university required
  • Must have at least 3 years of experience in the sports industry
  • Impeccable communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Must demonstrate a high degree of motivation, time management and attention to detail
  • Ability to present ideas in a clear and concise manner
  • Collaborative spirit in regard to recognizing overall goals and vision of the  Detroit Pistons
  • Tact and patience in a fast-paced environment, and expectations of complete confidentiality on all business matters
  • Excellent relationship-building skills and enjoys working with others, but also maintains strong organizational skills with an attention to detail and a proven ability to handle multiple priorities, processes, and data
