Facility Operations/Event Staff: Custodial/Housekeeping
As the Environmental Services Manager you will manage and direct the overall operation of the Environmental Services Department at The Henry Ford Pistons Performance Center and Little Caesars Arena. You will lead and manage all Environmental Service operations including all daily oversight of employees and third-party vendors for The Pistons Performance Center and Little Caesars Arena. 
  • Develop, monitor and manage Environmental Services Budget 
  • Works with Detroit Pistons medical staff to maintain a sanitary environment in all Basketball Operations private spaces at LCA and PPC
  • Plans, directs and manages all Environmental Services third party vendors to establish policies, processes and objectives to drive high quality standards 
  • Implement and maintain OSHA Cleaning Industry Safety Standards  
  • Conducts quality assurance inspections 
  • Leads third party vendor to Implement and manage work time studies to measure results 
  • Collaborate with PPC tenants and Henry Ford Hospital to manage common spaces   
  • Assures all vendors and staff follow established safety regulations when using equipment and supplies at all times 
  • Coordinates repairs needs with Facility Maintenance team and other appropriate departments
  • High school graduate or equivalent, Bachelor’s degree a plus
  • At least 5 years of experience in all phases of Environmental Services management
  • Must be willing to work weekends and irregular hours
  • Must have basic knowledge of Microsoft Office programs 
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Ability to lead and connect with a diverse employee population
  • Positive upbeat attitude and ability to work under aggressive event timelines as a leader and a team player
