JOB TITLE: Premium Experience Ambassador (Part-time Game/Event Nights)
This is a part-time/hourly and primarily seasonal role. Interviews will take place over the summer with training and scheduled hours to begin in late September. The majority of the hours will be during the Pacers season (October-April), but some summer-hours will be available as well.
 
SUMMARY: 
The Premium Experience Ambassador Team is responsible for providing world-class service at all Bankers Life Fieldhouse events. The primary focus of our Premium Experience Ambassadors is to elevate the overall guest experience by providing customized service to our Premium Ticket Holders, VIP guests, and all other fans as needed. In this role, you may also be tasked with elevating the overall guest experience through in-event utilization and fulfillment of unique experiences purchased through the Pacers Mobile App. 
 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 
  • Assist Premium Experience team in the planning and execution of all Indiana Pacers and Fever home games as well as concerts and other shows for all premium areas of Bankers Life Fieldhouse
  • Help guests by answering questions and enhancing the in-event guest experience through elevated service efforts. 
  • Develop strong client relationships with premium season ticket account holders through in-event communication and customer service assistance. 
  • Assist Pacers game guests with in-event utilization of the Pacers Mobile App while also serving as a host for experiences purchased through the app
    • i.e.: Pre-game warm-up viewing, 100% All Access VIP Building Tour, Half-time High Five Line, Cut Down the Nets, etc.
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills with Bankers Life Fieldhouse building partners and divisions when delivering guest experiences or resolving complaints (Levy Restaurants, ESG Security, Facilities Team, Box Office, etc.) 
  • Maintain a professional, clean, organized disposition and work environment while also adhering to the ELEVATE Guest Experience Standards. 
  • Be punctual and present for each work shift in appropriate professional attire as specified during training. 

GAME AND EVENT NIGHT SCHEDULING EXPECTATIONS: 
The majority of the shifts will be dependent on the events taking place at Bankers Life Fieldhouse. Some months will be busier than others, so schedule flexibility and nights/weekend availability is important. 
  • Approximate Number of Hours Worked per week: 0-20 (dependent on Bankers Life Fieldhouse game/event schedule)
  • Approximate Number of Game Nights worked per Pacers season: 30-40 
  • Approximate Number of Fieldhouse Events Worked per year: 15-30 

 QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: 
  • Outgoing and personable demeanor – must be able to proactively speak with guests while making them feel welcome & valued. 
  • Solid organizational skills, time management skills and attention to detail required. 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with an emphasis on business writing skills. 
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with others without supervision, be self-directed and demonstrate initiative. 
  • Excellent ability to establish rapport with others and ability to build strong interpersonal relationships. 
  • Display good judgment and quick decision-making skills. 
  • Availability and willingness to work extended hours, including nights, holidays and weekends and be on-call as necessary. 
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule based on the changing priorities of the department. 

 EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: 
At least 2 years of Customer Service, Hospitality, Retail or similar experience required. Ideal candidates will be a current student pursuing a degree in Business, Communications, Hospitality or related field or recent grads with a Bachelor’s Degree (BA or BS) from a four-year college/university. Experience working in a fast-paced environment with VIP or premium clientele preferred.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read, analyze and interpret written and verbal instructions and reports. Ability to effectively and professionally present information and respond to questions from Supervisors, Clients, Customers, and general public.
