POSITION OVERVIEW

The position will begin in late October and run through the duration of the 2018-19 season, including playoffs. You will utilize the NBA Global Statistical System and are expected to attend all twenty-four (24) Erie BayHawks home games.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Game night duties include inputting play-by-play, calling play-by-play, managing official scorebook, as well as passing out stats to the home team, away team and media

· Distribute statistics during games to media and teams

· Attend mandatory NBA Global Statistical System Webex training

· Set up and manage NBA Global Statistical System’s cabling and equipment for all home games

REQUIRED SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, AND ABILITIES

To perform the job successfully, you should demonstrate the following competencies:

· Working knowledge of NBA and NBA G League rules and regulations preferred, college experience helpful

· General knowledge of the NBA G League

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Strong attention to detail

· Adjust and adapt quickly in high-stress situations

· Ability to work with others in a fast-paced environment

· Present self in professional manner and have ability to interact with all levels of organization and outside contacts and maintain the highest level of confidentiality

· Ability to take direction and constructive feedback

· Flexible hours and available to work all BayHawks home games including preseason and playoffs

· You must be 18 years of age or older to apply

· All other duties as assigned
