Ticket Operations: Ticket Operations
General Description:
Responsible in assisting in the management of ticket operations for all ticketed events at Toyota Center.  Will help with game day ticket operations, create and execute new reports, work with 3rd party promoters, process ticket requests, assist with Rocket related needs, work with various departments within the organization, and provide outstanding customer service.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to:
  • Demonstrates our One Team philosophy of Passion, Accountability, Customer Focus, and Teamwork.  
  • Assist Sr. Director of Ticket Operations on various daily tasks
  • Assist Director of Ticket Operations and Box Office Manager on various daily tasks
  • Run ticket reports as needed
  • Work with 3rd party promoters on ticket requests and general ticket related needs
  • Work with Houston Rockets staff on ticket requests and general ticket related needs
  • Maintain box office policies and procedures
  • Assist with daily mailings and print batches
  • Answer customer questions over the phone and through on-line chat and provide accurate information and outstanding customer service

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • College degree preferred and 1-3 years experience in ticket operations /Live Entertainment is preferred
  • Knowledge of Axs ticketing system or other computerized ticketing systems is preferred, but not required.
  • Must be available to work game days and extended hours for special projects as needed
  • Excellent computer skills to include a proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Must be extremely flexible with the ability to handle high levels of stress
  • Must be multi-task oriented with great attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a pleasant phone etiquette.
  • Able to adapt to a team player environment. 

PHYSICAL & MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, walk, use handle or feel, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, talk and hear.
  • The vision requirement includes close vision and ability to adjust focus.  
  • Nature of position requires physical mobility and the ability to lift a minimum of 20 pounds.
  • Must have ability to adjust to changing work hours and locations as needed.
