JOB SUMMARY
The Houston Rockets and Toyota Center are excited to find a creative motion graphic designer with a passion for fan engagement and brand development. This role should be pursued by self-motivated individual with a keen eye for trending styles and innovative ideas. Our goal is to put forth a high-level product and experience to the diverse audiences that pass-through Toyota Center and followers online. INCLUDE A LINK TO YOUR REEL.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to:
  • Collaborate with production team on how to further the brand and engage fans
  • Design and animate high-end motion graphics for use on all organizational channels
  • Follow current trends and forecast new techniques to conceptualize creative ideas
  • Use tools available to composite, stylize, and create visually impressive elements showcasing players, game statistics, and entertainment groups, as well as integrating  corporate partners
  •  Design for in-venue video boards, social & digital, and for Fertitta Entertainment
  • Demonstrates our One Team philosophy of Passion, Accountability, Customer Focus, and Teamwork
 
 MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 5+ years working in Adobe Creative Cloud, specifically After Effects or equivalent motion graphic software required
  • 3+ years working in Cinema 4D or equivalent 3D animation software preferred
  • Ross Xpression knowledge a plus
  • Willing to work nights and weekends
  • Premiere / Photoshop / Illustrator experience preferred
 
PHYSICAL & MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • The employee is regularly required to stand, sit, walk, use handle or feel, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, communicate with others.
  • The vision requirement includes the ability to review written and electronic materials in both digital and physical format.  
  • The employee must be able to transfer and move items for departmental needs.
  • The employee must be able to adjust to changing work hours and locations as needed in light of the strong focus on external communications and relationships.
