Position Overview
The Game Day Retail Associate reports to the Vice President of Business Operations and will assist with all team store/retail related functions on home game days. The Game Day Retail Associates role is to drive sales, acknowledge each customer, build loyalty, ensure high service standards and act as a brand ambassador in alignment with organizational core values and mission. The Game Day Retail Associate will only work the day of a game at various locations throughout Dallas Wings concourse.
Responsibilities
- The retail associate, you will be a front-line representative for the club in our in-stadium retail store locations
- Leverage selling tools to achieve goals, maximize sales and have a positive impact on client’s overall game day experience.
- Acknowledge all customers and recommend, selects, and helps locate or obtain merchandise for guests
- Receive, display, re-stock and sell retail product through the point-of-sale systemPerforms other duties as assigned
Work Hours
Hours include approximately 8-24 hours per month (hours vary by month due to game schedule), including nights, weekends, and potentially holidays. Must be available to work at least 70% of scheduled events per month.
This position is part-time and seasonal. Weekend availability is mandatory.
Work Environment
This position works in an arena where the noise level is generally high, crowd traffic is heavy, temperatures are variable, and lights are bright or dark with occasional exposure to pyrotechnics or strobe lighting. May be required to stand for up to 6 hours.
