In this role you will support, track, and implement outreach programs and events related to our company initiatives, including NBA sponsored programs and player-related community engagement activities. This role serves and supports as the liaison with internal and external stakeholders in furthering our community efforts. In addition, this position is responsible for supporting the Employee Volunteer program and In-Kind Donation initiatives. We are looking for a driven, ambitious and passionate individual to join our dynamic team.

What would you do?

  1. Support team members and serve as departmental liaison to establish and execute agreed upon programming initiatives.
  2. Assist in executing all programs including event development, activation management, and evaluation.
  3. Monitor, measure and evaluate activities and programs based on Manager’s established programmatic metrics.
  4. Implement, measure and evaluate newly established Employee Volunteer Program, including charitable gift matching, employee engagement, and Pack Day of Service Events.
  5. Support Program Manager in player appearance requests, CBA reporting, and player-related autograph programs.
  6. Manage In-Kind donation program and Social Responsibility donation inventory.
  7. Responsible for game-day responsibilities, including communication to internal departments regarding social responsibility related game-day events.
  8. Provide administrative support for related activities as needed

What are your proficiencies or equivalent experiences?
  1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  2. Minimum of one year working in Corporate Social Responsibility, Community Relations, Program planning/evaluation, Nonprofit Management or other related experience. 
  3. Strong communication skills and business etiquette required.
  4. Proficient computer skills: working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook.
  5. Able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays.
  6. Ability to work well on a team and independently.
  7. Ability to manage specific processes and tasks in the department under supervision.
  8. Ability to develop strong working relationships internally and externally.
