The salary will increase by $15,000 within your first 90 days of employment.
The primary focus of this position is for you to develop and cultivate client relationships in the Minneapolis/St. Paul and surrounding areas with the focus on growing new revenue and servicing Full, Partial and Group Ticket Inventory for the Minnesota Lynx. We are looking for a driven, ambitious and passionate individual to join our dynamic team.
What would you do?

You will be responsible for growing new business revenue in full and partial season memberships, as well as group sales by researching individuals, companies and industries
Make cold calls to potential clients, as well as past clients to generate new ticket revenue
Attend charity events and networking events, conduct professional meetings with potential clients to maximize revenue growth
Exceed minimum weekly activity expectations in place (high phone call volume, sending emails, appointments, etc.)
Create unique touch points to maximize our customer service experience, promptly responding to requests or communications, and establishing a dynamic relationship with all customers
Staff all home games, member & promotional events, performing various sales and service functions throughout the game
Document all communication Client Relationship Management (CRM) system
Collaborate with management on annual department sales plans
Participate in monthly league calls and report back to the group on best practices.
Act as a subject matter expert and mentor for other account executives & lead bi-weekly department sales and service meetings. Assist in the training of other Lynx Sales & Service members.
What are your proficiencies or equivalent experiences?
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
Minimum of three years sales and customer service experience preferred.
Preference given to applicants with experience working in sports at the professional, minor league or collegiate level.
Positive attitude and a desire to succeed is required.
Strong written and verbal interpersonal skills required.
Able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays.
Ability to work well on a team and independently.
Knowledge of CRM and BackOffice is ideal.
