Position Summary/Objective: Work closely with the sales team to coordinate and execute member events, build relationships and assist with sales team needs.  Be the primary contact and coordinator of the Iowa Wolves Kids Club.  Greet visitors to the Iowa Wolves office, answer the main line and other administrative duties as assigned.  This position is expected to work 20-25 hours a week as well as all Iowa Wolves home games.  
 
Essential Functions:

  • Coordinate season member events including working with venues and vendors, setting up and staffing the events, gathering materials needed and managing RSVP’s. 
  • Manage new member signups for the Iowa Wolves Kids Club, communicate with database, send birthday cards, keep updated spreadsheet of Kids Club members and control inventory of member benefits.
  • Greet all visitors to the Iowa Wolves office, answer the main line and forward calls and other administrative duties as assigned.
  • Fulfill individual game ticket requests.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Other:
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work nights, weekends and potentially holidays.
  • Ability to work well on a team and independently.
  •  Ability to learn basic tasks quickly.
 
Experience: Previous customer service experience is strongly preferred.
 
Education: Bachelor’s degree or pursuit of degree is preferred.

Work Environment
This job operates in a Sports Arena environment. Staff will work Wolves home games. Work is both sedentary and active in nature. The working environment is generally favorable. Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. Some work is performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment available. This job also operates in a sports arena, which includes bleachers/steps. 
 
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate and exchange information with others both in person and over the telephone. The employee frequently is required to remain in a stationary position, and may operate computers and other office equipment, such as a copy machine, printer and telephone. Staff will frequently ascend and descend bleachers/steps and traverse around the building. Staff may occasionally move items weighing up to 30 pounds.
 
Travel
This position will likely not require travel.
