Summary:
The Vice President of Ticket Sales and Service will report directly to the Senior Vice President of Ticket Sales and Service and will supervise all sales efforts related to various ticketing package programs, group sales, courtside, and club seating, as well as suite sales for the Milwaukee Bucks in coordination with Fiserv Forum and the Bucks Corporate Partnerships team. This position is responsible for training, mentoring, motivating, and coaching a sales staff, and monitoring progress towards achieving department goals. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing a ticket sales plan designed to meet or exceed the annual departmental sales goals.

Responsibilities
  • Lead overall campaign strategy and on sales for the product in coordination with the Director of Ticket Sales, Director of Premium Sales and the marketing department.
  • Strategize, develop, and lead the execution of all ticketing service platforms including, but not limited to, benefits, access, private events, contract extensions, and payment processing which includes premium products.
  • Assists in the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the Sales team
  • Provide overall leadership for ticket sales and services initiatives in order to meet or exceed all sales and revenue goals as developed by Senior Management
  • Develop and maintain the Ticket Sales and Service department budget and expenses; revenue forecasting for all seating; pipeline management; compensation plan creation; sales and renewal incentives; and staff training
  • Builds sales strategies and materials to support the sale of ticket packages, groups, suites, premium seats, and nightly suite rentals
  • Handle the overall adoption and use of the CRM database to ensure the integrity of the information and run regular reports for senior management in order to give real-time updates on sales and revenue projections
  • Lead the overall maintenance in order to ensure the proper process is intact in regard to accurate data in Archtics database
  • Identify upsell opportunities for other Bucks departments, specifically Business Development; communicate and collaborate on such opportunities on a timely basis. Lead ticket sales team through contract negotiations.
  • Leverage technology to drive data-driven insights to prospective and existing partners
  • Pioneer the future of Premium and Ticket plan seating at Fiserv Forum by actively seeking innovative partnership opportunities and staying current on industry trends.
  • Participate in events, promotions, client entertainment, and other activities
  • Develop, lead, and run recurring client touch-point programs
  • Provides problem-solving and conflict resolution for the Ticket Sales and Service team as well as client-related matters
  • Other responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and advising work; appraising performance; exciting and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving issues and attending sales meetings with sales team members

Qualifications
  • Previous management of a sales team in a fast paced environment
  • Proven experience managing sales campaigns and lead sourcing
  • High proficiency in both written and verbal communications (public speaking and presentation)
  • Positive relationship-building and interpersonal skills
  • Assertive, persistent, process and results oriented
  • Strong time management organization and analytical skills
  • Strong work ethic and high personal accountability
  • Ability to be flexible, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks/projects and staff needs
  • Able to work flexible hours based on changing priorities including evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • Minimum 4 years of management experience in ticket sales or related field
  • Minimum 5-8 years of sales experience in a related field
