Overview
Manager of Email Marketing and Automation will be responsible for owning our instance of Adobe Campaign Standard and the email marketing channel, optimizing the platform for the delivery, automation, and reporting of targeted multi-channel marketing campaigns. The incumbent will have a minimum of 4 years of experience using ACS to manage outbound marketing programs (e.g. email and push notifications) and lead generation campaigns (e.g. web forms). Requires experience managing a team and hands-on, demonstrated experience working with industry tools, including email marketing, web analytics, CRM, and marketing automation platforms with knowledge of how cross-platform integrations impact data flows and campaign enablement.

Job Responsibilities:
Marketing Automation and Strategy
  • Oversee Marketing Automation projects as leader of the team responsible for our instance of Adobe Campaign Standard, identifying and executing opportunities to improve and/or optimize the platform with new features and releases.
  • As leader of the email marketing function, the Manager will represent the email channel in Marketing, Sales, and Strategy meetings, coordinating projects aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Identify and implement testing methodologies (e.g. A/B and multivariate testing) on all digital marketing elements to improve conversion rates (content, email templates, landing pages, list segmentation, call-to-actions, etc.) to optimize campaign results and support strategic decision-making. 
  • Uncover opportunities to optimize conversion points across the marketing and sales funnel while partnering with other digital marketing stakeholders and sales.
  • Collaborate with sales, content, and creative teams to create integrated marketing campaigns and deliver customized and targeted email communications to leads, prospects, and clients, using complex workflows.
  • Stay current on industry best practices and implement advanced workflows, improved personalization, and innovative segmentation.
  • Regularly monitor and maintain synchronization between the Marketing Automation Platform, data warehouse, and CRM systems.

Email Creation, Microsites and Forms
  • Manage team to create the most engaging, results-oriented and responsive emails and landing pages.
  • Oversee the scheduling and deployment of campaigns to ensure that they are optimized to deliver the right message to the right people at the right time.

Database Management
  • Work with CRM, data platform, and analytics teams to ensure that bi-directional data integrations are fully functioning and closes the loop on the customer lifecycle process to optimize sales and reporting on our streams of revenue including but not limited to tickets and retail.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to segment the database for targeted messaging both through email and other digital channels including social media and personalization of web properties.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field of study is required. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience, or training. 
  • Requires a minimum 4 years of experience executing multi-channel integrated campaigns that incorporate email targeting, lead-generating web forms, lead-nurturing, and automated programs using a Marketing Automation Platform. 
  • At least 1 year of management experience.
  • Must have hands-on, demonstrated experience working with marketing automation and analytics platforms, including web design, web analytics, CRM, and Marketing Automation platforms (Adobe Campaign Standard strongly preferred) with knowledge of how cross-platform integrations impact data flows and campaign enablement.
  • Proficiency in HTML and CSS is desired.
