Description of the Position:
The Director of Revenue Strategy & Analytics will:
  • Develop and oversee the execution of our multi-year revenue optimization, inventory and demand strategies for the primary and secondary markets.
  • Bring more visibility to the inventory lifecycle and its impact to revenue strategy and value chain
  • Oversee primary and secondary market activity analyses to assess conditions, and identify trends, risks and opportunities.
  • Craft and socialize business plans to achieve tactical and long-term revenue and inventory pricing goals.
  • Work cross functionally to partner with business leaders across the organization to sow understanding and impact of data driven tactics and strategies
  • Oversee relationships, agreements, and compliance among bulk buyers, marketplaces, ticketing vendors, and related technology and data partners
  • Examine and coalesce ticketing revenue strategy with other verticals, including sponsorship, media rights, merchandising, and non-ticketing game day revenue streams
  • Drive the expansion of our analytics platform to capture data required to execute and KPIs measure the performance of the stated goals and strategies. Inclusive of architectural alignment, identification and addition of “valuable” data sources, exploration of analytical methods and modeling, and team resource allocation and assignment.
  • Monitor and maintain an up to date knowledge set of in market, league wide, and industry dynamics and trends and how they might impact or be incorporated into strategic goals.

Bachelor’s Degree and/or Master’s required with emphasis in Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Finance or Computer Science.

Demonstrated track record of using analytics to craft and effect revenue strategy specifically inventory management, pricing, yield management. (5+ years). Experience leading and managing analytics efforts with an emphasis on team-oriented deliverables (4+ years).

Required
  • Awareness of analytical capabilities and experience advancing maturity of said capabilities (3+years).
  • Deep knowledge of live events with emphasis on ticketing strongly preferred (4+ years).
  • Understanding and ability to communicate the effects of technical and analytical capabilities and their effects on business strategy and execution.
  • Ability to be both a business and technical point person as necessary among dynamic stakeholder landscapes.
