Human Resources: Human Resources Management
The Vice President, Diversity & Inclusion and Culture is responsible for spearheading all diversity and inclusion initiatives in order to build a culture that attracts, develops and retains diverse talent. This leader will serve as an internal consultant to executive leadership and their teams to ensure that the organization operates with the utmost integrity and an instinct for inclusion. This position will work to cement BSE’s status as one of the most desirable companies to work for in all of sports and entertainment.
Cultural Leader:

• Assess the current corporate landscape at BSE and recommend and implement processes and programs to ensure an inclusive workplace culture.
• Build a buzz around BSE’s new offices and highlight our world class facility to current and future employees. Create and implement dynamic, innovative programming based on internal feedback and needs post move.
• Survey employees of all levels and disciplines to understand the constantly evolving needs of the organization.
• Create, refine and implement a culture of teamwork, collaboration and engagement to further cohesiveness across the organization.
• Design strategies, policies, metrics, and reporting tools that support BSE as a best in class, enjoyable and balanced workplace.
• Utilize and promote internal affinity groups to strengthen employee collaboration and support.
• Collaborate with Human Resources to establish new and creative employee appreciation programs.
• Externally, strengthen existing key community relationships and develop new ones to advance BSE’s mission of cultural awareness and social responsibility.
Diversity & Inclusion:
• Create unique and innovative programming tailored to BSE that will strengthen an instinct for inclusion and engender a strong sense of belonging for all employees of BSE.
• Serve as an internal consultant to all senior leadership and their teams to ensure diversity and inclusion is part of the decision-making process throughout the company. Engage division leaders in conversation around what inclusion looks like for their business and help provide action items to achieve results.
• Partner with HR to drive diverse talent identification and retention strategies. Recommend processes and programs to ensure the organization hires, advances and retains high-potential, high-performing diverse team members.
• Develop policies and analyze actionable, proactive metrics that assist in moving the organization from a culture emphasizing compliance to one with an emphasis on inclusion and cultural competence.
• Provide leadership and support for newly created Inclusion Council and help facilitate the development of additional Employee Resource Groups as needed.
• At least 10 years of executive-level experience in a culture/diversity-specific role and/or diversity consulting capacity (business, management, human resources, communications, social responsibility). 
• Demonstrated ability at driving large scale cultural efforts in well-regarded and admired companies. 
• Collaborative problem-solving skills and the ability to work with cross-functional internal and external partners in multiple locations. 
• Proven ability to influence areas of the business without direct reporting relationships. 
• A recognized thought-leader on issues of diversity and inclusion 
• Demonstrated team leadership, coaching and group facilitation skills. 
• Strong understanding of recruitment, talent management/retention and leadership development with a focus on the integration of diversity practices into these functions. 
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Communications, Human Resources or a related field. Advanced degree preferred but not required. 
• Prior experience in sports and entertainment is preferred, but not required.
