Ticket Sales and Services: Premium/Suite Sales

In conjunction with the Director, Premium Services, you will assist with the management, sales, and renewals of Brooklyn Nets and NY Islanders Season Ticket accounts. You will also provide support to the Premium Services and Member Services teams.
 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage and retain 200+season ticket member accounts for two properties full- and half- season ticket member accounts
  • Generate new sales and renewals for Brooklyn Nets and NY Islanders games
  • Pursues, solicits, and sells new business while exploring opportunities to up-sell existing Season Ticket Members
  • Makes telephone and face-to-face sales calls on accounts and promptly follows up with action in order to move the sales process forward;
  • Attentively listen and comprehend all current and new Season Ticket Member needs and provide superior customer service
  • Tactfully handles and resolves team and Season Ticket Member’s issues and follow up appropriately;
  • Understands and uses various tools within the organization, such as CRM and Archtics to follow all office and company standard operating procedures;
  • Assist in the creative concepts of Season Ticket Member materials including brochures, flyers and all other support materials;
  • Will be required to attend Brooklyn Nets home games, NY Islanders home games to assist with departmental tasks
  • Participates in special projects/project team(s) as assigned, to support department objectives

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 2+ or more years of experience in sales and customer service working for a professional sports franchise
  • Preferably at least one year of management experience
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
  • Familiarity with CRM and Archtics database ticketing systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook and related software skills. Proficiency in ticketing systems; handling ticket inventory and manipulating prices.

Working Conditions

Travel Requirements
Rare occasions (<5%); trips may require air travel and/or overnight stay for one or more nights.

Physical Demands

This position requires the ability to lift up to 10 pounds.
Work Environment
Primarily works in an office environment, however is expected to attend games, as well as Barclays Center events as needed which may take place on evenings, weekends or holidays.
