Job Summary/General Description:

The person holding this position will be responsible for applying their web development skills to create applications that support the scouting and coaching staffs.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Primary responsibility will be to create web applications as directed by the Basketball Analytics Manager, a responsibility which includes:

  • Building the database backend
  • Implementing a proposed design using HTML, PHP and/or similar languages
  • Designing and putting into place a robust user experience using CSS, JavaScript, and other associated languages/technologies.

Qualifications (educational requirements, certification or licensing standards, experience and basic knowledge requirements):

  • Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP and MySQL
  • Comfort working in a LAMP environment
  • Experience with user interface design
  • Strong basketball knowledge and familiarity with advanced basketball statistics a plus
  • Knowledge of how to properly construct data visualizations and how to implement them using code a plus
