The Midland RockHounds are currently in need to hire a production assistant. This will be an internship that will likely develop into a full-time position at the end of the season. This person will be involved in the Entertainment/Video Production for the Midland RockHounds and Midland/Odessa Sockers FC.

This person must be available for 70 RockHounds and 7-10 Sockers games with the ability to work flexible hours through February-September. We are looking for a person that has a passion and knowledge of the game of baseball. Experience in Adobe Creative Cloud specifically Photoshop, Premier After Effects is a must. Knowledge of baseball is a requirement. Knowledge of camera/production equipment is recommended.

This job will also have focus on web design and social media as you will also be creating graphics on these platforms.

This person will report primarily to the Director of Video and Game Entertainment Director as well as involvement with our Community Relations Director and Media Coordinator.

Duties include:

Operating equipment that is used to produce the game-day show with the RockHounds Baseball team and Sockers FC Soccer team.
- Creation and editing promotional videos
Video Board Programming
Camera Operator
- Technical Directing
- Music
- Scoring
- Instant Replay Operator
- Video Editor
- Statistical Scoring
- Community Appearances that mascots and players that are scheduled
Creating graphics, GIF’s, animations that can be used on our website and social media platforms
Special Projects: This includes video work that is done on non-game day productions as well: Concerts, in-house videos, community appearances and other video work that may be needed.
