JOB SUMMARY: The Account Executive, Group Tour Sales position is responsible for producing revenue through the sale of group tours of Globe Life Park, primarily in and around the Dallas-Fort Worth Area Metroplex.  Direct functions include the development and service of new and past customers, continual prospecting and communication with the business community, school districts, day cares and other potential customers with a strong commitment to success and building quality relationships.  
  • Selling Globe Life Park group tours and group tour events on non-game days
  • Meeting or exceeding weekly, monthly and/or long term sales goals
  • Provide superior customer service to all accounts and build relationships that lend to repeat business
  • Will be required to make no less than 50 - 75 calls per day and maintain log of call notes
  • Recruiting of new clients with emphasis on networking, cold calling and face-to-face appointments
  • Significant emphasis placed on self-generated lead acquisition
  • Must organize leads/prospects for weekly reporting
  • Service existing accounts, fulfill orders and establish new accounts 
  • Plan and organize daily work schedule to call on existing or potential accounts
  • Work with tour operations team to develop accurate planning and execution of group tours
  • Strong organizations skills, especially concerning CRM systems and tracking client contacts
  • Visit clients on the day of their event and follow up with client post-event
  • Participate in events hosted and coordinated by Rangers Events
  • Attend games, external trade shows and events to promote group tours 
  • Proactively develop new opportunities for existing clients
  • Create annual group tour events that will drive considerable foot traffic and sales for events (e.g. field sleepovers, wine tasting classes, watch parties, etc.)
  • Experience in ticket, tour or other relevant sales preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sports Management or related field preferred
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Excellent computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Must be an energetic, motivated self-starter
  • Must demonstrate flexibility and quickly adapt to changes
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to balance internal priorities with client expectations
