Responsible for producing various media elements for the Texas Rangers Ballpark Entertainment department and across multiple other organizational platforms
  • Produce, shoot, and edit features for in-game, social media, website, and other organizational departments
  • Assist in Marketing Commercial editing
  • Assist in development of creative ideas for in-game, social media, website, etc.
  • Assist in upkeep of asset management systems
  • Assist in control room on game days
  • Other responsibilities as assigned
  • Bachelors in Broadcast Journalism, Communications, or related production degree
  • Minimum 3 years of experience shooting, editing and producing content
  • Experienced user of ENG cameras (Sony FS5/FS7, DSLR, XDCAM preferred) and other production equipment such as lighting kits and audio equipment
  • Experienced user of Adobe Creative Suite, including but not limited to After Effects and Photoshop
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Preferred knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro &  AVID editing systems, including Media Composer, Interplay, and ISIS
  • Preferred knowledge of Social Media platforms, compression codecs, and game day control rooms
  • Preferred knowledge of Control Room equipment such as EVS, Chyron, Ross Expression, Daktronics – Show Control and Venus products, routing panels, and VTR’s
  • Ability to work in a high-pressure environment with the ability to meet deadlines, understand the need for last minute changes and multi-task
  • Ability to lift/carry production equipment between 20 to 40 lbs. 
  • Ability to stand during shoots ranging from 30 minutes to 10 hours
  • Will be required to work all home games, which may include evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Will have events that require shooting on evenings, weekends, and holidays
