The Rangers Events Intern is responsible for assisting in efforts required to run, maintain, and service the Rangers Events department.


Duties and responsibilities


  • Assist the Rangers Events sales and services teams in all aspects of operations, including; event coordination; daily ballpark conversions; event services; tour route conversion; public safety; security; custodial services and parking departments.
  • Work closely with Event Coordinators, Tour Supervisors and Account Executives to assist with event management, pre-event and onsite communication, facility rentals and other in-house events. 
  • Ensure that the venue calendar is updated and accurate
  • Promote business growth efforts to help achieve sales goals  
  • Correspond with clients and outside organizations through calls, emails and site visits
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of event documents
  • Provide general event support for public ticketed events as needed
  • Consistently seek ways to improve upon existing products; encourage innovation, excellence and operation efficiency
  • Assist with the customer sales experience from initial discussions to event execution  
  • Implement facility rules, regulation policies and procedures
Education and Experience 
  • Excellent organization skills
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills required; ability to successfully communicate with with all levels of staff and the public
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Professional presentation, appearance and work ethic
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if needed
