Internship: Internship
The Player Relations Intern is a part-time, paid internship that continues through the entire Texas Rangers’ Season. Regular Season concludes in early October. Should the Team advance to the playoff games, Post Season ends by early November.

  • Daily office functions include monitoring incoming/outgoing documents for departmental fax machines and printers
  • Manage all aspects of incoming Texas Rangers’ fan mail and Players’ fan mail received by the department in an efficient and timely manner. Open, sort, organize, distribute and respond to recipients in accordance with departmental guidelines
  • Ensure that mail items associated with Former Texas Rangers Players’ are distributed with outbound mail within a timely manner
  • Provide assistance to department by assembling and distributing items such as goody bags and facilitating special requests
  • Assist staff by answering and appropriately responding to phone requests and departmental inquiries
  • Assist staff by “handling” incoming phone calls and mail items received by the department from Fan Feedback
  • Provide assistance with special projects and departmental duties, including Game Day activities (nights and weekends)

  • Able and willing to work flexible hours - including holidays, nights and weekends, as required
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Highly organized with a strong ability to multi-task and prioritize projects in a fast-paced environment
