Marketing: Game Operations/Presentation
The Director of Event Productions is responsible for producing and directing video and audio presentations for Rangers Events at both Globe Life Field and Globe Life Park, including editing video, loading graphics, and other video board and scoreboard productions.
 
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
  • Responsible for staffing and management of crew for video board and audio       production for Rangers Events
  • Produce various media elements for Rangers Events 
  • Prepare scripts and program logs for all Rangers Events 
  • Production and programming of in house TV system for Rangers Events
  • Assist Rangers in production of Texas Rangers baseball game elements
  • Other responsibilities as assigned
 
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelors in Broadcast Journalism, Communications, or related production degree
  • Minimum 3 years experience in event presentation field
  • Required to work all Rangers Events, which may include nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline driven team environment
  • Strong technical, organizational and communication skills
  • Must be eager, creative, and a problem solver
  • Must have experience using Avid and Adobe Premiere editing systems, CG machines, Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop and After Effects, various HD setups and codecs, various media work-flows, including tape based and tapeless
  • Must have an understanding of compression codecs, including Quick time, Windows 
Media, and Flash video
  • Need working knowledge on using a video switcher, replay systems, file based playback devices, and broadcast camera operation
  • Knowledge of Daktronics scoring systems and Daktronics show control system
