Administration/General Management: Administrative/Executive Assistant
The Part-Time Executive Office Assistant will support the Executive Assistants and be responsible for a wide range of tasks that are critical for supporting the fast-paced and high volume of administrative needs for the executive office of the Texas Rangers. This individual will interact with top-level executives on a daily basis and handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.  The Part-Time Executive Office Assistant will serve as a team player that will pitch in on a variety of special projects, meetings, and events, in addition to the day-to-day operations of the executive office.    
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support to the Rangers executive office including copying, scanning, filing, ticket requests, and shipping. 
  • Place lunch and group catering orders, assist with the setup/breakdown, and pick up lunch as needed for executives and meetings.
  • Assist with the preparation of purchase card and expense reports, merchandise requests, and gift bags.
  • Organizing and stocking breakroom and office supplies. 
  • Prepare binders, meeting materials, and handling set up needs of miscellaneous meetings.     
  • Other ad hoc projects including annual holiday card distribution, opening day reception, miscellaneous donation requests, document retention process, and preparing for the move in 2020. 
  • Ability to work in a high pressure and fast-paced environment while managing multiple assignments with a strong attention to detail.
  • Superior interpersonal and customer service skills. 
  • Ability to interact with senior leadership team and dignitaries with a professional demeanor.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgement, discretion, and maintain confidentiality. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
