JOB SUMMARY: The Texas Rangers are actively seeking a Human Resources Assistant to join our organization. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for providing crucial support by managing and preparing information for our Human Resources department. Your duties will encompass a wide range of administrative tasks, including assisting in the organization of departmental leaders, and acting as a liaison to foster seamless communication with all departments throughout the organization.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
Applicant Tracking System support
Corporate employee HRIS transfers/promotions/profile updates
Oversees the auto claim & registration process
Orders business cards for all front office employees
Maintain uniform distribution for seasonal, part-time employees including ordering, inventory and vendor coordination
Assist with coordination of part-time employee training and onboarding events
Complete verifications of employment for all front office and seasonal employees
Corporate & Seasonal unemployment claims
Assist with Worker’s Compensation claims
Responsible for creating personnel folders
Responsible for ordering gifts for condolences and get well
All other duties as assigned
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Fluent in Spanish required
High school diploma; College degree preferred
Previous experience in human resources preferred
Strong organizational and computer skills
Effective communication skills
Ability to handle confidential material in a professional manner
Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and evenings for game duty
