Job Description: 
  • Dress in mascot costume, attend and perform at a variety of regional and community events.
  • Analyze and interpret common social expressions and clients’ needs or wants relating to the mascot.
  • Troubleshoot situations without delay and act accordingly.
  • Perform mascot duties in a manner deemed acceptable.
  • Work with community members of all ages and abilities as well as other staff members.
  • Interact with the public in a positive and respectful manner.
  • Be courteous, friendly, reliable, and punctual.
  • Impersonate mascot personality in costume using gestures.  
  • Conduct costume maintenance including cleaning, minor repairs, basic maintenance.

Qualification: 
  • Must be able to work at least 50 games including Opening Day and July 3rd.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Possess a highly personable disposition and animated personality with good interpersonal communication skills and creativity.
  • Must be well organized and flexible to meet time, priority and workload demands.
  • Must be able to lift, pull push and/or carry 50 pounds as necessary. 
  • Ability to stand, sit and walk for up to 6-8 hours. 
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
