EVENT SALES MANAGER

We are looking for enthusiastic Event Sales Manager to provide excellent customer service to our patrons. An Event Sales Managers is primarily responsible for non-game day events at Regions Field. The ideal candidate will be able to generate event sales, cultivate guest relationships and coordinate Banquet Events Orders (BEOs).

§ Collaborate with clients to define their vision and needs, to generate positive results for all events
§ Coordinate with necessary departments and review the details of the Banquet Event Orders to ensure the event will be executed as the guest has agreed upon
§ Collect deposits as required at least 14 days before the event
§ Coordinate with the Director of Events to hold a weekly BEO meeting regarding upcoming events, review BEO's and have a thorough understanding of all requirements on upcoming events
§ Document final arrangement with clients on the Banquet Event Order (BEO) sheet
§ Keep accurate records of the deposit schedule and make the appropriate adjustment to ensure it balances weekly
§ Maintains organization, ability to multitask, and deadline oriented.
§ Obtain all specifications and appropriate information concerning the event, including number attending, schedule of event, menu, etc.
§ Set up and maintain an organizational system to keep track of clients’ events
§ Proven track record demonstrating creativity with a passion for event management and sales, hospitality and guest service skills
§ Proven track record demonstrating sound judgement, decision making, problem-solving and conflict resolution skills with guests
§ Proven track record demonstrating management of multiple priorities to achieve expected outcomes at the site level, while maintaining focus on guest’s events wants and needs
General Physical Requirements:
§ Ability to lift 25lbs up to 50lbs
§ Ability to stand for up to 5+ hours during an event
§ Ability to work long hours, weekends & holidays
§ Ability to work in adverse weather conditions, including but not limited to rain and heat
