The RiverDogs are looking to fill a part-time position operating the in-venue music and soundboard for RiverDogs home games during the 2019 season (March-September). This position is paid on a per-game basis, and hours are almost exclusively in the evening (weekday shifts beginning at 5:30pm).
Qualified candidates should:
- Be currently living in the greater Charleston area. The position is part-time -- employee will work only during RiverDogs home games -- and the RiverDogs are unable to assist with any relocation or housing expenses.
- Have a very strong understanding of the flow of a baseball game and entertainment event. The RiverDogs will rely on this employee to set the tone/mood in the ballpark with the apt employment of pump-up songs and engaging sounds effects, for example.
- Have a strong interest/passion for music, with a strong internal knowledge base of different genres of songs, to be able to quickly pick out the right song or sound for the situation.
- Be available to work most all RiverDogs games (almost exclusively in the evening -- schedule can be found at riverdogs.com)
