Human Resources: Human Resources – Compensation
Overview: 
The Payroll & Human Resources Coordinator performs human resources-related duties and all payroll responsibilities.  This position processes payroll for employees who work in various states and multiple entities.  This position has the flexibility to work remotely. 
 Responsibilities: 
 Payroll: 
  • Timely and accurate processing of multi-state and multi-entity payroll, including commission and bonus payments 
  • Data entry including new hire paperwork and changes to salary, tax withholdings, direct deposit, and benefit withholdings for existing employees 
  • Process wage garnishments and submit payment to the institution in a timely manner 
  • Assist employees in obtaining payroll information as needed 
  • Review of bi-weekly payroll reports 
  • Preparation and submission of quarterly and year-end tax reports 
 
HRIS: 
  • Manage ADP payroll, onboarding, and recruiting system 
  • Process and enter all HRIS employee related information 
  • Perform scheduled activities and reports 
  • Process a variety of reports or queries utilizing appropriate reporting tools 
  • Maintain data integrity in systems by running reports and analyzing data 
 
HR Administration: 
  • Assist Human Resources Director in carrying out various human resources programs and procedures for all employees 
  • Participate in recruitment effort by processing job postings 
  • Assist in new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed 
  • Assist Human Resources Director with various research and special projects 

Qualifications: 
Required: 
  • Associates degree in Business or a related field 
  • 5 -7 years of payroll processing experience 
  • Expert proficiency in ADP payroll processing software, specifically ADP Workforce Now 
  • High level of discretion and interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential information 
  • Knowledge of HR office administration procedures 
  • Attention to detail in composing and proofing materials, establishing priorities, and meeting deadlines 
  • Excellent spelling, grammar, and written communication skills 
  • Excellent organization skills 
  • Knowledge of benefits and labor law language
