Overview:
The Vice President, Partnership will play an essential role in the future growth of Ripken Baseball, one of youth sports’ preeminent brands with six premier venues and nationwide programming. The Vice President will be responsible for understanding Ripken’s value proposition to brands and cultivating partnerships that drive revenue and deliver the Most Memorable Experience in Youth Sports. This is a remote-friendly position for candidates residing in the eastern or central time zones.
 
Responsibilities: 
·         Responsible for growing strategic partnership revenue across all venues and programming
·         Acquire new partners by selling fully-integrated, customized sponsorships platforms based on the specific and unique business challenges for each prospects
·         Prospect, pitch, negotiate and close new national and regional partnership opportunities in both endemic and non-endemic categories
·         Research and understand prospective partner business objectives and align assets and customer insights to objectives
·         Develop and maintain a weekly/monthly status report and scorecard of opportunities and prospects 
·         Draw a list of contacts developed from past sponsorship experiences while cold calling new corporate marketing prospects to pursue revenue 
·         Work closely with Partnership Service Director to create new assets and entitlements to be sold at existing and future venues  
·         Collaborate with Marketing department and Partnership Service Director to craft Ripken’s presentations, storytelling, and collateral 
·         Coach and mentor sales leaders and sellers at each facility on categories and inventory to increase local sponsorship revenue Represent Ripken Baseball within the sports industry and develop meaningful relationships with key stakeholders to facilitate growth 
·         Continually stay ahead of sponsorship / marketing trends and knowledge of the marketplace 
·         Support special projects 
 
Required Qualifications: 
·         Bachelors degree
·         Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in sponsorship sales
·         Results-oriented and competitive approach
·         Ability to build strong internal and external relationships and goodwill
·         Professional presentation abilities
·         Outstanding written and oral communication skills
