If you answered yes to any of these questions, the assistant coaching position with the West Virginia Miners may be the answer for you. We are looking for 1 or 2 coaches to fill out our staff.
The WV Miners are a member of the Prospect League, which is one of the best summer collegiate wooden bat league in the US. The league consists of 16 teams that play across seven states. We play a 60 game season from June 1st until the first week of August.
The coaching positions would include throwing BP, hitting infield, working individually with players (based on your strengths), traveling with the Miners to all road trips, and helping develop Pre-game plans and workouts.
We would be supply housing and food on the road trips & after all home games. You will have the opportunity to make money based on summer camps and individual lessons while working with local youth with guidance from the Miners staff. You will need a car for transportation to/from the stadium. We do take charter buses to all road trips and you will be sharing a hotel room with another coach on road trips.
