Sponsorship Sales & Activation: Corporate Sponsorship Sales
We are looking for a creative, driven Corporate Sponsorship Sales Executive to join our team.  The ideal candidate has 7+ years of sports-specific sponsorship sales experience and is particularly adept at monetizing corporate assets.  The position will focus on sponsorship sales for the following assets: Venue / Complex Sponsorship and associated media assets; Property/Event Sponsorship and associated media assets; Media (TV, digital, social, etc.).  The incumbent will also be responsible for developing a sponsorship and sales program for the company.  This is a unique opportunity for the right person to directly impact our bottom line by opening doors for new sponsor relationships as well as leveraging existing ones. 

Responsibilities include:
  • Identifying new ways to monetize company assets through corporate sponsorship
  • Draw on extensive sales background to develop robust sales strategies and objectives
  • Market the right sponsorship opportunities to the right potential sponsors, tailoring sales approach to suit sponsors’ needs and expectations
  • Ensure sponsors’ expectations are in line with our brand
  • Continual and concentrated networking efforts to develop relationships with potential sponsors
  • Translate leads into sponsorships
  • Understand sponsors’ objectives and create unique sponsorship opportunities that align with them
  • Execute contracts
  • Cultivate ways to tap into international, national, regional, local and hyper-local sponsorship opportunities
  • Focus on long-term partnerships
  • Develop metrics and analytics to measure progress and success
  • Provide the highest level of customer service at every step in the sales process

  • 7+ years of sports-specific corporate sponsorship experience 
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Hungry, driven and ambitious
  • Excellent communicator, both verbal and written
  • Versatile salesperson with the ability to tailor sales approach to each potential sponsor
  • Ability to turn prospects into sponsors
  • Proven track record of closing deals
  • Comfortable presenting in person and online
  • Ability to work remotely
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
