The Box Office Agent/Cashroom Attendant will be responsible for handling all ticket transactions; ticket sales, exchanges, and problem solving. In this position you will also be responsible for handling cash, change ordering, deposit preparation and vault fund reconciliation, as well delivering exceptional customer service in fast paced environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Smile, greet and interact with guests who visit the box office.
Deliver exceptional customer service to our fans
Will be expected to master two complex computerized ticketing systems
Must be able to respond to guests questions regarding upcoming ticketed events
Comply with cash handling practices and procedures to ensure that company policies are followed.
Responsible for timely and accurate completion of paperwork and other administrative responsibilities.
Responsible for counting and balancing large sums of cash and cash receipts.
Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide large sums of cash.
Ability to interact with co-workers in order to assure compliance with company service standards, company inventory and cash control procedures.
Standard reporting, event close, and post event documentation.
Vault / change fund operations.
Cash collection throughout the Ballpark.
Cash bank distribution and assignment.
Cash bag collection, counting, posting, and reconciliation.
QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Prior experience with cash handling and math skills required
Ability to problem solve
Flexible availability – including mostly nights and weekends
Must be comfortable interacting with the public in high-pressure situations
Ability to process and balance cash transactions
Ability to lift and carry items weighing 10-30 pounds, occasionally 50 pounds.
High energy, detailed orientated, and a self-starter.
Prior experience in a high-volume/fast-paced environment required
Fast paced environment which requires flexibility and troubleshooting
