Summary:
Assist the Director of Operations with maintenance and cleanliness of Werner Park including performing maintenance and janitorial services. This individual assists with ensuring the stadium is operational and ready for events. This position does not include grounds keeping.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for general facility maintenance including equipment inspection and monitoring throughout the facility
- Assist with improvement projects to increase safety, efficiencies and capacity
- Maintain a working knowledge of all operating systems
- Assists with ordering and maintaining all supplies and equipment
- Compliance with all OSHA regulations and other government safety regulations
- Manage projects as assigned
- Other duties may be assigned
Game Day Responsibilities:
- Assist with client and fan entertainment
- Assist with maintenance and operations of Werner Park
- Assist other departments when necessary
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or progress towards a degree in Sports Marketing, Marketing, Business Administration or related field preferred
- Prior maintenance and project management experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing and carpentry preferred
- Knowledge of ballpark operations preferred
- Ability to collaborate in a team environment
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to solve problems quickly
- Attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good working knowledge of computer programs including Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point,
- Valid driver’s license and ability to drive for organizational business
- Ability and willingness to work varied and long hours including nights, weekends and holidays
