position summary 

The  Parking Operations Manager is primarily responsible for managing the parking lots and structure operated by Greater Nevada Field. 

essential duties 

  • Manage parking structure and surface lots on event day for Reno Aces, Reno 1868 FC, and Greater Nevada Field Special Events
  • Interact with public (in person, on the phone, or by email) to resolve issues related to parking
  • Attend staff meetings as it relates to homestands and special events 
  • Manage revenue of all parking lots servicing Greater Nevada Field 
  • Source vendors for facility maintenance and maintain those relationships 
  • Source vendors for capital projects and maintain those relationships 
  • Work closely with COO on capital projects 
  • Manage parking department budget 
  • Work with Fan Experience Manager and Guest Services to ensure traffic set up meets approved traffic plan 
  • Work closely with Ticket Sales department to ensure proper sales and distribution of parking passes for season ticket holders
  • Manage parking staff team: hire, fire, schedule, and train seasonal staff as needed 
  • Assist operations team on game and match day set up as needed 
  • Assist in creating facility annual capital expense planning 
  • Serve as Manager on Duty for special events as needed 
  • Other duties as assigned

qualifications 

  • Minimum 1-year experience in operations and/or managing event parking
  • Minimum 1-year experience in budget management 
  • Must be available weekdays and weekends as games and events require 
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills, and ability to work with different personalities 
  • High level of demonstrated professionalism and integrity 

work environment 

  • Some work in clean, pleasant, and comfortable office setting 
  • Some work outdoors in parking structure 
  • Some travel required 

physical requirements

  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds  
  • Must be able to stand and direct traffic for several hours a day
  • Must be able to work game days including nights, weekends, and some holidays
