 Job Title: Director, Events Booking
 Reports To: SVP,Chief Revenue Officer     
 FLSA: Exempt 
Job Purpose:  
Developing new ventures to utilize Oriole Park at Camden Yards in Baltimore and Ed Smith Stadium in Sarasota, Fla. for non-baseball special events in order to attract non-traditional fans to the ballpark.  
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:   
  • Identify and negotiate engagements with promoters of large-scale, non-baseball events
  • Identify and develop new revenue streams for the club related to large-scale events in an effort to drive non-traditional fans to the ballpark
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with national tour promoters and booking agents to identify potential acts/shows for concerts and events at Oriole Park at Camden Yards and Ed Smith Stadium, in Sarasota, Florida
  • Develop proposals and manage start to finish the negotiation of non-baseball event contracts to maximize revenue
  • Work with appropriate departments as a team player to manage the on-sale, marketing, communications, and contract administration for concerts and other large-scale events
  • Work closely with Ballpark Experience & Operations to ensure all necessary logistics and arrangements are identified and implemented
  • Work closely with Corporate Partnerships and Suite teams to identify cross-selling opportunities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with state and local tourism bureau
  • Work closely with Chief Marketing Officer, Chief Content Officer and Chief Revenue officers at the club to build the brand of Orioles Entertainment and Camden Yards as a destination
Minimum Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience) 
  • Concert/Live Entertainment booking background preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of related business experience
