TEAM INFORMATION
As an intern with the Waterloo Bucks, you will actively be a part of the front office activities and be involved in learning all facets of a minor league baseball organization. The Waterloo Bucks are owned by the Cedar Rapids Ball Club Inc. which also owns the Cedar Rapids Kernels.  The Bucks offer a variety of internship positions.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Game Day internship positions will work long hours on Bucks game days along with other events at Riverfront Stadium. Should expect to work ALL Bucks home games, various ticket office shifts, and during a few extra events at Riverfront Stadium. Game day positions will also assist in guerilla marketing efforts throughout the Cedar Valley during the season.
 
o   Start Date: May 15, 2023
o   End Date: August 18, 2023
o   Organize and fulfill community appearances involving players, coaches, and the mascot
o   Assist in setting up and running Bucks youth baseball camps
o   Schedule National Anthem appearances, first pitches, and dream teams
o   Communicate with group outing leaders to see how their experience is, and work to improve it when necessary 
o   Assist with game operations, box office, on-field games, souvenir stand, and guest services
o   Organize Corporate Angel program
o   Prepare on-field promotions
o   Assist in communicating game script execution to on-field staff
o   Create game script for the Bucks’ high school tournament series
o   Execute on-field promotions during Bucks games
o   Production and installation of restroom marketing signs
o   Organize guerilla marketing efforts including Bucks yard signs and pocket schedule distribution for all Bucks staff including interns and front office personnel
o   Provide outstanding customer service to advertisers and fans
o   Be trained on the ticket system and fulfill ticket office duties 
o   Other duties as assigned

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
o   The ideal candidate would be outgoing, personable, detail oriented, and organized.
o   Should be able to work well in both a team, and individual environment.
o   Willingness to learn new skills, and work outside your comfort zone.
o   Should be a college student, or recent grad looking to work in the sports, or a related industry. 
o   Previous experience will be taken into consideration, but not required.

Gameday Interns receive a $100 per week stipend. Housing is not provided.
