Field Manager – Kenosha Kingfish
Big Top Sports & Entertainment, the largest and most successful summer collegiate baseball ownership group in the nation, is looking to hire a Field Manager position for the Kenosha Kingfish of the Northwoods League.

The ideal candidate would have an extensive baseball background and connections with NCAA Division 1 programs.  Ability to develop collegiate level talent a must.

The Field Manager will report to the Owner and General Manager and the duties of the position include:
  • Oversee all aspects of the team
  • Assemble coaching staff
  • Use baseball connections to strengthen Kingfish roster. Recruit and retain players
  • Work with staff and players on development – providing training and instruction
  • Handle all practice and game-day preparations
  • Work with designated staff members on roster 
  • Responsible for final decisions on all aspects of on-field team strategy
  • Manage day to day operations of the team including travel, itineraries and player communication
  • Enforce team rules
  • Assist in promoting and helping secure player participation for Children/Sponsor Clinics, pregame sponsor experiences and other appearances. The Kingfish Front Office will provide notification in a timely fashion to help assist in the recruitment process. 
  • Be personally available for sponsor or community related events, based on team schedule, if deemed necessary by the GM
  • Ensure the team is maintaining a positive relationship with the public, sponsors, fans,   supporters, media, host families, etc
