 Job Summary:
It is our goal to make our guests’ experience at Richmond County Ballpark as pleasant and enjoyable as possible. To achieve this, our employees need to be professional, courteous, pleasant, reliable, dependable and well groomed. Our employees should be willing to go above and beyond to help make our guests feel welcome and always have a smile on their face.
Essential Functions:
We are looking for enthusiastic grounds crew members to assist with maintaining the highest standards of excellence for playing surfaces and surrounding areas at Richmond County Ballpark.  
Responsibilities:  The Grounds Crew member will assist the Head Groundskeeper in areas such as, but not limited to:
  Maintaining the highest standards of quality and cleanliness
  Strong communication and problem solving skills 
  High attention to detail 
  Ability to work in a high paced environment
  Ability to maintain a neat, clean & professional appearance  
  Maintenance of all skinned areas, bullpens, warning track, both common and field grass
  Prepare field for batting practice, tear down and pre/post-game duties
  Help with Stadium Operations duties as needed
 Candidate must be hard working, self-motivated, and able to work in a variety of weather extremes
  Able to work with hand tools, rake and tarps
  Able to hustle around the stadium, lift 50lbs repetitively, and stand for long periods of time
  Must keep a professional appearance and act accordingly around professional athletes 
Working Conditions / Special Physical Requirements:
Ability to work 40 hours per week, beginning in May and ending in August/September

Ability to work all home games as well as any special events held on the fields 
Ability and willingness to work longer hours as needed

Routine exposure to extreme heat/cold conditions

Ability to work long hours, weekends & holidays
