Summary   Provides support, troubleshooting, oversight and management of all information technology operations at the American Family Fields of Phoenix. This position also provides remote support for Brewers staff and affiliate locations as needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Provide basic first-level troubleshooting for common issues and problems.
  • Act as point person for all technology related projects, including overseeing training initiatives for all users as it relates to new products and software deployments.
  • Manage the onboard and offboard IT processes for all onsite and affiliate employees.
  • Purchase needed computer peripheral equipment.
  • Capture and develop requirements for upgrades and enhancements.
  • Manage all printing hardware (copiers and printers,) and related supplies.
  • Maintain and support all telecom and networking hardware.
  • Assist with troubleshooting all iPhones and iPads. 
  • Oversee and document Audio/Visual setups for each room within the facility.
  • Assist with video coaching and baseball operations.
  • Support televisions and IPTV distribution. 
  • Work with Help Desk staff to image and deploy computers for new hires and upgrades.
  • Assist with planning and installation during core infrastructure projects.
  • Provides support for all Spring Training and other key Brewers games.
  • Provides ad-hoc support for baseball affiliates, including the Carolina Mudcats.
  • Oversee second-level support and assign work orders to IT Staff for third-level support.
  • Follow-up with users to provide status updates on outstanding issues.
Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. 
  • Experience with:
    • Managing a Microsoft Windows desktop environment
    • Troubleshooting PC, print, copy and network operations
    • Managing basic computer networks
    • Supporting VoIP telephone systems
    • Supporting A/V or broadcast equipment
  • Strong interpersonal skills, outgoing personality, and a desire to deliver excellent customer service
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university and two years or more of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills

Mathematical Skills                                                      
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.  Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions, which may include heat, cold and various forms of precipitation. The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.
Work Hours                                                      
Business hours are Monday – Friday 9 am – 5pm, however, additional hours may be required on weekends, evenings and some holidays in support of Spring Training or special events. Up to 10% travel to American Family Field in Milwaukee, WI and Five County Stadium in Zebulon, NC is required.
