Overview
Guest Experience Guides are an integral part of the Miller Park fan experience, with job duties that directly impact our guests who are visiting Miller Park for tours, a game day experience or a private event.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities may include the following. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.  Other duties may be assigned.
  • Conduct private and public tours of Miller Park for guests of all ages and backgrounds on game days, non-game days. Tours take place mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends
  • Greet and welcome guests to the Selig Experience theater and gallery during games
  • Conduct pre-game Tours and experiences, including facilitation of the Bernie’s Slide Experience. Ensure guests have a safe and enjoyable time
  • Act as a guide and Brewers representative to Miller Park visitors, thus assuring guests have a memorable experience and receive the highest level of service
  • Accommodate guests in a knowledgeable and friendly manner
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
  • Knowledge of Milwaukee baseball history and passion for general baseball history
  • Strong and engaging interpersonal and communication skills, including public speaking
  • Experience working with the public in a service-oriented role
  • Be extremely friendly, outgoing, energetic, and have a positive, “can-do” attitude
  • Flexibility in making decisions, exhibiting sound and accurate judgement
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude when handling difficult situations
  • Basic mathematical skills
  • Ability to stand and walk for extensive periods of time
  • Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
  • Must conduct themselves in a professional manner and be able to respond quickly and thoughtfully to any situation

Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
 
Language Skills                                                
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.  Ability to write simple correspondence.  Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
 
Mathematical Skills                                                     
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.  Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
 
Reasoning Ability      
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.  Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Work Hours                                                     
Must be available to work at least 40 games, arriving 3 hours prior to game-time.  Having a flexible schedule that allows for working some or all weekday day games is a plus
