Summary:   The Coordinator - Entertainment serves as an integral member of the Entertainment and Marketing teams – most specifically as it relates to game operations, staff management, and non-game events. The position will work hand-in-hand with the Manager – Entertainment and will also work closely within the entire entertainment and marketing teams as well various departments across the organization.  The position requires someone who is collaborative, creative, enthusiastic and has excellent communication and organizational skills.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.  Other duties may be assigned.
  • Act as the day-to-day manager for the Brew Crew, the Brewers entertainment team: 
    • Schedule staff for all games, appearances and non-gameday events 
    • Create staff schedules and rotations for all Brewers home games 
    • Lead pregame Brew Crew staff meetings 
    • Act as the “Brew Crew Supervisor” for all home games, assisting with any and all fan concerns as needed 
    • Directly manage Brew Crew staffing, hours and payroll 
  • Act as the main Back-of-House Producer on gameday, ensuring all gameday elements, features and promotions are executed successfully
  • Assist with National Anthem/Color Guard bookings throughout the season, including coordination leading up to gameday
  • Assist in the coordination, preparation and presentation of non-game events, such as Brewers On Deck, community parades, block parties, summer festivals, etc.
  • Assist in the ideation and development of in-game elements, features and promotions
  • Continually monitor our production efforts to create more efficient and better processes
  • Monitor both industry and culturally-relevant trends that could be used to improve and enhance our in-game presentation
  • Lead new project efforts as assigned by the Management - Entertainment but not limited to the development of a Brewers Street Team
Supervisory Responsibilities                                                    
Directly supervises approximately 75 Brew Crew staff members. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Computer Skills  
To perform the job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft office software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, and Internet Explorer.    
Education and/or Experience                         
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; and 1-2 years of experience in event presentation/game operations/live events. Experience with managing large staff is a plus.
Language Skills                   
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.  Ability to write simple correspondence.  Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills                                                     
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.  Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability      
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.  Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions, which may include heat, cold and various forms of precipitation. The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
Work Hours                                                     
Regular business office hours are Monday-Friday 9 am - 5 pm, however, the ability to work long hours and some nights, weekends, and holidays will be required. This individual will be expected to work all Brewers home games. However, given the nature of this position, weekly hours may be reduced to approximately 25 hours per week during the offseason.
