Summary
This role will be responsible to provide direction to supervisors and associates in accordance with the Club’s customer service, sales, and applicable operation standards.  Responsibilities consist of supervision of sales associates, cashiering, stocking, customer service and other retail needs. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.  Other duties may be assigned.
  • Assist the Store Managers in the opening and closing policies and procedures
  • Assist management with all hourly Sales Associates to ensure proper coverage for all game day and non-game day store/portable locations
  • Greet and acknowledge all customers
  • Maintain retail store/portable standards, policies and procedures
  • Assist with customer’s needs and requests both on the floor and at the cashier area
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety standards throughout the retail stores/portables
  • Assist customers, offer excellent customer service and generate retail sales
  • Process sales through the POS system, bag merchandise, follow all register procedures and handle cash accordingly
  • Recommend, select and help locate merchandise for customers
  • Ensure that all merchandise is correctly labeled and displayed
  • Routinely stock and arrange merchandise on shelves
  • Verify register balance at the beginning and the end of each shift
  • Maintain a clean and organized store/portable
  • Set aside and notify supervisor of defective, mismarked, mislabeled, incorrectly priced, shopworn or damaged merchandise
  • Watch for and recognize security risks and thefts and reports to security/management
  • Assist with the execution of store promotions, gift-with-purchases, and other marketing/promotional activities

  • Willingness to upsell/recommend add on items to customers

Education and/or Experience
  • Prior retail management experience preferred (minimum one year)
  • Previous cash handling experience required
  • Prior experience working with point of sale (POS) system required
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • College degree in business or management preferred 

Computer Skills  
To perform the job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, and use of the internet.   
 
Language Skills                                                
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.  Ability to write simple correspondence.  Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
 
Mathematical Skills                                                     
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.  Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
 
Reasoning Ability      
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.  Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and ability to adjust focus.

Work Hours                                                     
This is a part-time position that requires days/nights, weekends and occasional holidays.
