The Sales Assistant serves in a support role in the sales of group and corporate tickets as well as special amenities including suites, picnic and luxury venues, and Lugnut Loot packages. He/She is responsible for servicing current accounts as well as selling to his/her own small account list.
The daily activities of the Sales Assistant will include working with clients, both dedicated and new, while working with the Lugnuts’ CRM database system, following established procedures with box office
interaction, compiling and circulating reports to management, producing promotional materials and informational packets, and assisting the sales staff with meeting preparation and special event execution.
The Sales Assistant will work office hours during the baseball season, and will likely average 30-40 hours per week, fluctuating somewhat based on week-to-week needs. The Sales Assistant will work a few games to gain experience during the year, but their focus and bulk of their hours will be sales support during normal office hours. The Lugnuts are often able to work around a limited class schedule or other commitments.
This role will work directly with the on-site sales staff and Sales Management, and is an ideal role for a student or recent graduate looking to gain experience or start a career within sales or customer service – in a fun environment to boot! QUALIFICATIONS:
-Junior or Senior in college, or recent graduate
