Position: General Internship
Summary:
The Lake County Captains are hiring interns for the 2023-2024 off-season. The Captains internship program offers an opportunity for current college level students to gain real world experience to position themselves for a career in the sports industry upon graduation. This General Internship provides experience in the following fields:

Marketing & Promotions
Stadium Operations
Ticketing & Ticket Sales
Food & Beverage
Creative Services

Responsibilities:

Rotate amongst multiple departments to experience a variety of Minor League Baseball operations
Help plan and execute promotions and theme nights
Assist with grassroots marketing and community events
Work with staff to ensure the proper execution of baseball games and other stadium events
Assist with all aspects of ticketing process, including sales, box office operations, and game day ticketing tasks
Create sales support items such as flyers and jpg's for the sales staff to email to prospective groups and ticket buyers
Create social media and web graphics and ad collateral
