Position: General Internship
Summary:
The Lake County Captains are hiring interns for the 2023-2024 off-season. The Captains internship program offers an opportunity for current college level students to gain real world experience to position themselves for a career in the sports industry upon graduation. This General Internship provides experience in the following fields:
- Marketing & Promotions
- Stadium Operations
- Ticketing & Ticket Sales
- Food & Beverage
- Creative Services
Responsibilities:
- Rotate amongst multiple departments to experience a variety of Minor League Baseball operations
- Help plan and execute promotions and theme nights
- Assist with grassroots marketing and community events
- Work with staff to ensure the proper execution of baseball games and other stadium events
- Assist with all aspects of ticketing process, including sales, box office operations, and game day ticketing tasks
- Create sales support items such as flyers and jpg's for the sales staff to email to prospective groups and ticket buyers
- Create social media and web graphics and ad collateral
