Technical Services: Camera Operator
Position Summary: 
As the Assistant Editor, Game Presentation & Scoreboard Operations, you will be a part of a dynamic and talented team of industry leaders in the Sports Video industry. You will assist in all stages of production from the conception of show ideas, to execution and live production.  As an assistant editor, your functions are, but not limited to:  video shooting, editing, lighting, creating motion graphics, script-writing, gripping and Gameday production. The ideal candidate should possess the ability to learn, adapt and obtain an all-around working knowledge of the sports industry entertainment.
Essential Functions:
• Assist Lead Editor in ALL Video Shoots and Projects from setup to post-production
• Work multiple Control Room Positions such as Sony Switcher, Sony Cameras / Shading, Click Effects, Chyron Duet, Enhanced Video Systems (EVS), Parsons Audio, Daktronics Stats Systems, Daktronics Show Control and all future additions
• Assist with creating Gameday Entertainment Concepts and Ideas such as VNR’s, Highlight Packages, Recap Videos, Sponsored Elements, etc.
• Operate a Video Camera and be given Direction / self-Direct specific shots
• Clip, Log and Store ALL Organization video requests
• Learn all encompassing Major League Level Broadcast process, concept and purpose
• Assist the Executive Producer on a case-by-case basis
Qualifications & Requirements:            
• Must have Major League Baseball Knowledge
• Strong video shooting skills
• Able to operate SONY FS Cameras is a plus
• Strong editing knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite Programs
• Editing knowledge of AVID is a plus
• Familiar with operating Daktronics Equipment, Chyron, EVS, Sony Switcher, Clicks, etc.
• Flexible working hours for Marlins home games and Marlins Park events including nights, weekends and Holidays
Suggested Education & Experience Guidelines:
• Broadcast / Communications Degree 
• Ability to Produce a Full Package Video 
• Some experience in a LIVE Control Room environment for a Major Sport
